Computers Training Part of the CAQA group

IT training

Computer skills, from first login to certification

Technology training across the whole range, from basic digital literacy for people who have been left behind by it, to formal ICT qualifications.

IWhat we do

Three things, done properly.

i

Digital literacy

For adults who were never taught and have been quietly working around it ever since.

ii

Workplace skills

The applications people actually use, taught against the tasks they actually do.

iii

Formal qualifications

Nationally recognised ICT qualifications where the credential matters.

IIWhat goes wrong

The two failures we see most.

We publish these because most of the value in hiring anyone is knowing which mistakes are common, and that knowledge is not worth hiding.

Teaching the menu, not the task

Feature tours are forgotten. Skills attached to a real task are retained.

Assuming the basics

A course that assumes file management loses the people who most needed it, in the first ten minutes.

IIIHow we work

We tell you what we find.

Including when the answer is that you do not need what you came to ask for. Anyone who never says that is not giving you information, they are giving you an invoice.

Scope

Where something needs a legal opinion, a financial audit or a clinical judgement, we will say so and stop rather than improvise past the edge of what we do.

Start a conversation.

Tell us the situation rather than the service you think you need. We would rather start from your problem.
